Gareth Harper specialises in Shoulder and Elbow surgery and has a particular interest in arthroscopic surgery. He
has been working in Portsmouth as a full time Consultant (on the NHS and privately) since 1999. He retired from NHS work in 2026 continuing in Private practice at the Spire hospital, Portsmouth. He is a fully accredited, fellowship trained Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon who has published widely in peer reviewed journals.
He regularly performs the following procedures;
- Open and Arthroscopic Shoulder Surgery
- Shoulder and Elbow Sports related problems.
